Whew, were those dudes nerds. It actually had me laughing out loud many, many times. Who told Alan Alda he looked like Nesmith anyway?? He sounded more like Kasey Kasem voicing Shaggy than Mike. And why the hell was Davy Jones dancing like Axl Rose? At least Rodney Bingenheimer finally got to step up into the spotlight for a change. Peter was played by the Baldwin brother you never heard of and somehow Dean Cain pulled off a mean Mickey (at twice his size!). But the best (or worst) was the guy who played Jack Nicholson. Holy shit, that was horrible. I thought Jimi Hendrix resembled "Huggy Bear" from Starsky and Hutch - while John Lennon looked like Peter Sellers with a hangover. So what the hell was up with this TV movie anyhow?

Mayor's Note: Actually, the part of Jack Nicholson may have been played by the bastard nephew of Fred Travalena and John Lennon looked more like a subdued Robin Williams. "Oooh, Zilch - what a concept!" But Norm's pretty dead-on with the rest of his review, especially the Davy dancing reference. I always thought Axl was trying to cop the style of Mr. Jones in  those old Guns  N' Roses music videos.
